67. There is a very strong chance that the Kings will draft a defenseman with the 13th pick and Zboril is the best one available for this mock draft. Zboril is a low risk, high reward player that sticks to his strengths. He moves the puck very well and has underrated hands to boot. The Kings will be satisfied with a defenseman as skilled as Zboril is but there is a possibility that a D-man ranked higher slips down past the top 10, in which case I think the Kings will try a snag him.. D. Saint John Sea Dogs, QMJHL. Jakub Zboril. 13. player

player. 70. The way Travis Konecny plays fits fairly well with how Bruins hockey has been played the past few years. He is a skilled competitor that showcases plenty of heart in his game. He is a good skater, he uses his edges well and can turn quickly. Konecny has been a great scorer throughout the season too. He scores 29 goals and 39 assists as the Ottawa 67’s captain this year.. C/W. Ottawa 67's, OHL. Travis Konecny. 14

112. The Flames have seen successful drafting work in their favor (see Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, Sam Bennett). A player like Nick Merkley could certainly end up on that list of contributing Calgary Flames. He has played center mostly for Kelowna, but he can be used to fill the needed depth the Flames have a the right wing position. He has skills and smarts. Merkley moves the puck very well to his teammates and knows who to dish the puck to at the right time.. RW. Kelowna Rockets, WHL. Nick Merkley. 15. player

player. 148. The Edmonton Oilers have been searching for a NHL caliber defenseman for quite some time now and they could get a good one here in Thomas Chabot. Chabot is a strong two-way defender that has surprising offensive upside as well. Chabot had a 41-point season with the Sea Dogs this year and he also impressed many at the World Juniors.. D. Saint John Sea Dogs, QMJHL. Thomas Chabot. 16

Anthony Beauvillier. 17. player. 30. Anthony Beauvillier is a very fast, small, skilled center who relies on his speed and agility to beat his opponents. Possess a good understanding of the game but will take some time to make it to the NHL due to his lack of stature. He has the senses to be in the NHL, just not the build. Fortunately for the Jets, they have enough prospect depth and NHL depth to wait for him to make the transition to the NHL.. C. Shawinigan Cataractes, QMJHL

Jansen Harkins. 18. player. 91. Jansen Harkins had a very good year in the WHL this past year which was detrimental to his boost in draft stock. Harkins plays an all zones type of game. He often plays physical and uses his body to gain the offensive advantage. The Sens will be adding a player who adds to their good center depth behind young prospects like Curtis Lazar, and who can also play the wing as well.. C/W. Prince George Cougars, WHL

72. The Red Wings have decent forward depth which comes in handy when drafting a player like Connor who will be playing at the University of Michigan in this upcoming season. With players like Mantha, Pulkkinen, and Ferraro the Wings have the available depth to wait for Connor to play a few years at Michigan.. C. Youngstown Phantoms, USHL. Kyle Connor. 19. player
