4-. Before training camp began I wrote an article stating this might be Justin Bailey’s year to crack the Buffalo Sabres roster and while I was wrong regarding to the Sabres, it looks like this is Bailey’s year. Through his first 5 games in the OHL he’s already put up 10 points including an impressive hat-trick a couple of games away. Bailey was a 2nd round pick of the Sabres from the 2013 draft and is hoping to show the Sabres that he too has the skill to help this team win down the road. They’ve got a lot of skill coming from a lot of different places and there isn’t going to be room fro everyone, but Bailey is doing his best to show them he deserves a spot.
Since being sent down to the Rangers, Bailey has looked very good in the OHL. He was not originally invited to the USA’s u20 World Junior camp but could easily be in the mix now after his impressive start.
. RW. Kitchener Rangers. JUSTIN BAILEY
