2. When I was looking over the Buffalo Sabres training camp roster I stumbled accross Joseph Blandisi and was pleasantly surprised to see them invite him to camp. Unfortunately he didn’t get much of a chance to prove his worth but he’s doing so in the OHL right now. The OHL this season seems like a dog fight, and up until a couple games ago, Blandisi was the top dog leading the OHL in scoring. He was named the player of the week and currently sits 3rd with 17 points in 7 games. The Ottawa 67’s did him a favour sending him to the Colts who are legit OHL contenders and he hasn’t looked back since joining the team.
Blandisi is an overeager this year in the OHL, hoping an NHL team will take notice and holding tight with Connor McDavid in a scoring race might help that. Some guys are just late bloomers and Blandisi might be one of those guys.
. Centre. Barrie Colts. JOSEPH BLANDISI
