Blackhawks fans can’t wait to see Teuvo Teravainen suited up for their team as this kid is one solid prospect with a bright future. He won gold with Finland at the 2014 World Junior Championships and has taken his game to next level this past season. The Blackhawks first round pick in 2012 recorded 44 points in 49 games with Jokerit Helsinki and is arguably ready to play in the NHL next season. While it’s far too early for big time comparisons, Teravainen’s offencive skills and soft hands have drawn his comparison to Patrick Kane.
After a final and successful year in the SM-Liig, Teravainen should be making the trek to North America next season to join either the Blackhawks or their AHL team to bulk up and work on his defencive game next season.
