2. John Gibson– Norfolk Admirals

John Gibson burst onto the scene after an impressive effort with team USA at the 2013 World Junior Championships where he backstopped the underdog Americans to a gold medal. He’s thought of to be the next top level NHL goaltender and the reason the Anaheim Ducks are so comfortable giving up their goaltenders. The Ducks clearly have a gem in John Gibson who they took in the 2nd round of the 2011 draft. He’s had stellar season’s in the OHL and recently finished a solid year with the Norfolk Admirals where he posted a .920 Save Percentage.

At 6 foot 3, John Gibson is a star in the making for the Anaheim Ducks. He suited up for 3 games with the Ducks this year and posted an impressive .954 Save Percentage through those 3 games. His a goaltender that can instil confidence in his team and hold down the fort under pressure. He’s a rare goaltending gem of a prospect.
