2016 NHL Draft prospect Chad Krys has decided where he will be playing next year. The defenseman has been under the spotlight for a while with everyone wondering where he will play next year. The Connecticut took to Twitter to announce his arrival at Boston University.
The Terriers lost a phenom in Jack Eichel, a player that no one will duplicate. With Chad Krys, Boston Universty gets a big prospect that will take over his rookie role.
Krys is a smaller D-man at 5’11” and 183 lbs. He possesses an offensive skillset like few others and has great skating ability as well.
Hockeyprospect.com ranks Krys 21st and Future Considerations ranks him 6th in their respective 2016 NHL Draft rankings.
The Boston Univerity Terriers play Union in their first game on Saturday, October 10th.
Future Considerations has this to say about Chad Krys.
"“A two-way defenseman who plays bigger than his size and possesses impressive hockey sense. His skating is both smooth and quick, allowing him to be extremely elusive and slippery. Very creative and always thinking, he makes plays that make those watching say “Wow.” That coupled with his excellent defensive positioning, elite skating and strong offensive tools have many thinking Krys has the ability to become a special player.” – Future Considerations"
