The Ottawa Senators announced the team has signed prospect Tobias Lindberg to an entry-level contract, and as per club policy details were not disclosed.

Tobias Lindberg was selected in the 4th round of the 2013 NHL Draft. Lindberg had been playing for the Memorial Cup champion Oshawa Generals this past season, and before that he played in his native Sweden.

Lindberg will join the Binghamton Senators next season in the AHL. His play during the regular season and the playoffs for the Generals was well enough to prove that he is ready for the next big step. Lindberg has attended Senators prospect camps in past years, but the real challenge will come now in trying to make the NHL squad.

Lindberg scored over 30 goals last season and was phenominal during the Memorial Cup and OHL Playoffs.
