The Kajaani, Finland native has played the last nine seasons in the Finnish Elite League, playing in 464 regular season games, with three organizations. In his career he has posted 62-99-161 totals, and 13-20-33 totals in 65 playoff appearances.
The 27 year-old, 213 pound center will most likely spend next season in the American Hockey League, with the Providence Bruins, but his cap hit if he does play in the National Hockey League would be $700,000. His size and skill will certainly help, as the AHL Bruins look to rebuild a solid developmental core.
