Pavel Zacha Remains #8 in North America

Among the madness inside the top 10 of Central Scouting’ draft rankings one skater has held steady at the spot given to him at #8 in North America. That skater is Sarnia Sting forward Pavel Zacha.

Zacha, a center, is a pretty big kid at 6’3″ and 214 lbs. He uses that size, his elusiveness, and along with his shot to fool defenses and goalies. He is a well rounded prospect but his offensive abilities are what bring him inside the top ten.

Despite missing time due to injury and a suspensions, Central Scouting has kept Zacha at that #8 position throughout the year. He played in 37 games and collected 16 goals and 18 assists.

Zacha may not have impressed many this year from lack of his time missed, but when in the lineup he has shown that he is a very good player.

I think once Zacha can remain healthy and play a full season he will prove that he can be a well rounded NHL player.
