4. Duncan Keith

College: Michigan State University

If Keith doesn’t go down as one of the best defensemen of his generation, he will definitely go down as the best Blackhawk defenseman.  Drafted by Chicago in 2002, Keith is currently the longest tenured Hawk on the roster.  As well as being a shutdown defenseman, he possesses an offensive ability not seen in Blueliners.  His success in the NHL can be summed up by one number: 2. Twice a Norris Trophy winner, twice an NHL all-star, twice a Stanley Cup Champ, and twice an Olympic gold medalist.  Shocking, considering his two year career as a Spartan did not bear much fruit.
