The son of hockey legend Peter Stastny and former Denver Pioneer has become one of the NHL’s most exciting Centers. The left-handed American won a NCAA Championship in 2005 over North Dakota, and was named to the All-Tournament team. Since entering the NHL in the 2nd round, the son of Peter Stastny has been nothing short of spectacular. He’s only the third youngest NHL player to reach a 20-game point streak, behind greats Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky. Despite his success in Colorado, he signed to his hometown St. Louis Blues as a free agent last offseason after he and the Avalanche were unable to agree on a new contract.
