NHL Rookies Who Recorded Their First Points

Brandon Kozun: 1 Assist

Kozun was another Leaf rookie who worked extremely hard to earn a spot on the roster for opening night and he almost had his first goal in his first game. Unfortunately for Kozun, Kradri’s stick got in the way as he deflected the puck past Carey Price. For awhile it looked like Kozun was getting his first goal but in the reply it’s clear that Kadri changed the direction of the puck. None the less, way to go Kozun! After he worked super hard a solid opening night with the Leafs was due for him.
