  • The Toronto Maple Leafs opened their regular season with a 4-3 loss to the Montreal Canadiens but that didn’t stop Percy from having a solid night on the blue line. Percy was the Leafs first round pick, 25th overall, in the 2011 draft and joins the squad after a 25 point year with the Marlies last season.

    He’s been one of the more highly touted Leafs defencemen coming up in the system and fans were very excited to hear he had cracked the opening night roster. He played in all situations during his first career NHL game and had a nice pass to Tyler Bozak for his first NHL point.
