  • Sam Anas burst onto the NCAA stage in a big way as a freshman with Quinnipiac last season en route to being the nations top rookie. He led the Bobcats in scoring with 22 goals and 21 assists for 43 points in 40 games. He recorded multiple points in the same game a dozen times last season

    The 5 foot 8 rookie had a huge season and proved that he could score from anywhere on the ice. For his efforts with the Bobcats he was named the NCAA’s division I rookie of the year, New England’s top rookie and to top it off he was named the ECAC rookie of the year.
