Of all the change from the NCAA to the CHL, Milano, a first round pick in 2014, was the highest profiled player to make the jump. He’s now with the Whalers where he’ll be much closer and available to the Columbus Blue Jackets should they need him this upcoming season or in the near future.
It’ll be a new league for Milano to adjust to after faring well in the U.S. under-18 team, but if Milano plays like he’s capable he should have no issues helping the Whalers become a better team.
