Rookie camps are right around the corner and fans are getting really excited to see even the slightest glimpse of their team back on the ice. Rookie camps and tournaments offer first hand access to the future of a club and are a great way for fans to see what they have to look forward to. However, a lot of the players playing in these rookie tournaments, particularly goaltenders, won’t be cracking the NHL team’s roster.

Instead of focusing on the prospect games, for this one we’re going to look at the rookie goaltenders who have basically secured a job as either the number one or number two for next season. Here are three we think you will need to keep an eye out for.
