Nashville Predators

I feel bad for the Predators, I truly do, they’re the forgotten team in the West. With the Blackhawks, Blues, Canucks and Kings, almost no one remembers the Predators or their once dominate days. They made a failed attempt to land Spezza this off-season but did manage to pick-up James Neal who should help the offence. However, with Mike Fisher out four-to six months after rupturing his Achilles tendon, the Predators are dealt a huge blow to their offence.

  • They were able to land Seth Jones at last years draft and he will undoubtedly help their defence alongside Shea Weber and brick wall netminder Pekka Rinne, but they’re going to be in tough against some very good teams in the West. They have some stellar young talent in the pipe line, but that talent isn’t ready for any kind of big role with the club next season.

The Predators will likely put a good fight as the Predators do, but in the end the misfit players will shy away from the spotlight and the Predators will be left scratching their way to Connor McDavid.
