No matter where you look or listen you have heard a thousand times that this years draft is not a very good one. However, that is false. There are a lot of character and role playing guys available that almost all NHL teams could build around. This draft will also feature a new brand of player, the remodelled power-forwards. These guys are huge, well over 6 feet and close to 220 pounds, but they can play like the best. They bring skill and physicality to the table, in addition to leadership.

These names might not jump off the roster at you, but you’ll be very glad you have them on your team in the future instead of playing against you.
