NHL Draft: 5 Possible Surprises

Josh Ho-Sang will fall out of the first round

It’s pretty crazy to think that a guy as talented as Josh Ho-Sang is at best going to be picked in the bottom 20’s of the first round tonight. He’s got tons of skill and can be a major difference maker, however the baggage he carries with him is a major concern. Teams have concerns over his discipline, temper and attitude and those concerns leave Ho-Sang at risk of following from the top 30.

He also made some pretty controversial comments last week which didn’t help his case. Whether it be for the right reasons or the wrong ones, teams are afraid of taking the project known as Josh Ho-Sang right now. Unless a team wants to take a big gamble early on, expect Ho-Sang to wait until the second round for his name to be called.
