Hunter Smith is a monster of a man, coming in at 6 foot 6 and 208 pounds and following his breakout year with the Generals, he may be going earlier than expected. Before last season he had scored 1 goal in 2 previous OHL seasons, however last season something clicked. His net presence is key as he loves to clean-up rebounds and dump opponents whenever he gets the opportunity.  This past season Smith recorded 16 goals and 40 points and topped it off with some impressive post season numbers.

Smith could easily add another 10 to 15 pounds to go with his giant stature and has some NHL tools already in his game. In addition to his goal scoring and net presence he has NHL level mitts as he is good at redirecting the puck and can make a decent pass. Also he loves to cause trouble when on the ice, making him a fun player to watch.
