To be honest I was a little surprised to find out defenceman Torey Krug still counted as a rookie. He had such a big role with the Bruins last season he already seemed to be a leader on and off the ice for them. However, Krug in his rookie season was stellar on the blueline once again.

His ability to step up in the moment and block out the mistakes he makes is quite impressive. In his 12 post season games with the Bruins he recorded 10 points. Krug is so good at making creative plays to find open ice and set up his teammates. He’s a very valuable member of the Bruins blueline.
