NHL Mock Draft: First Round Take 2

1. Florida Panthers- Sam Bennett

While the Florida Panthers do currently hold the first overall pick, there is no guarantee they’ll go with the defenceman. There is heavy talk the Panthers will take one of the two Sam’s with their first overall pick.

2. Buffalo Sabres- Aaron Ekblad

If for no other reason than to mess with the Edmonton Oilers, there is no chance the Sabres pass on Ekblad if the Panthers do. GM Tim Murray has already said he will take the best player available regardless of need or position.

3. Edmonton Oilers- Leon Draisaitl

Despite the other Sam possibly being available at the three spot, I can’t see the Oilers passing up the tremendous skill of Leon Draisaitl.
