Memorial Cup Top 5 Performers
3. Antoine Bibeau- Val d’Or Foreurs
Although the Val d’Or Foreurs didn’t make it to the championships after a heartbreaking triple overtime loss in the semi-finals, goaltender Antoine Bibeau has nothing to be ashamed of. Statistically speaking he was the best goaltender throughout the tournament posting a 2.76 goals against average and .932 save percentage, with a 2-1-1 record and a shutout.
He stood tall between the pipes and was able to shut down offencive powerhouses such as the Guelph Storm and London Knights throughout the tournament. It’s a shame he had to go out in a triple overtime game or he could have easily been the Memorial Cup MVP for his efforts.
