Surprise, surprise, yet another Oil King on our list. While he might not have led the Oil Kings or the tournament in scoring, Edgars Kulda certainly did enough in his 5 games to impress someone as he was named the 2014 Memorial Cup tournament MVP. He recorded 7 points, including 4 goals and 3 assists throughout the tournament and hopefully helped to raise his draft stock. He was ranked 145th heading into the tournament and is hoping some teams will look at a little differently at him post tournament.

The Latvian nightmare as he’s known played with fire and flair throughout the tournament and was crucial to the Oil Kings claiming the championship. With his impressive tournament, don’t be surprised if Edgars Kulda is taken in the second round of the upcoming draft.
