This years draft will truly be the battle of the Sam’s. Who goes first Reinhart or Bennett? Most scouts have Reinhart slightly above Bennett who roughly ranks third in the rankings. Reinhart sees the ice as well as anyone in the 2014 class, he has the skating and puck-handling skills to boot.
Reinhart is the true wild card. He’s got the leadership and the skill to jump right into the NHL next season, he’s touted as a player a team can build a franchise around, yet there are some who lean away from him heading into the draft. He’s very mature, has solid hands and can truly control a game when he wants.
