Buffalo Sabres 3 Draft Pick Options

The latest scout report has Sam Bennett related to a Jonathan Toews type of player and if Bennett turns out to be even half of that the Sabres will be happy. He’s got leadership, scoring ability and plays centre, everything the Buffalo Sabres are looking for going forward.

Bennett is a physical but offensively gifted centre, he is a great skater and can find space on the ice quickly. He’s basically the complete package and one of the building blocks a team could build around. He has a little bit better leadership than the other Sam available in the draft, but isn’t quite ready to play in the NHL next season which is fine for the Sabres.
