Today we’re taking a look at the team picking number 2 in the june NHL entry draft, the Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres and their fans had a very long and trying season and then on top of it all they lost the draft lottery to the Florida Panthers. However, picking 2nd isn’t so horrible for the Sabres and actually sets them up quite nicely heading into the draft.
