Aaron Ekblad
The Florida Panthers could use a franchise defenceman and Aaron Ekblad is arguably one of the top two prospect available at the draft. Seems like a perfect match no?
Only problem is there are other just as skilled forwards which, depending on who you ask, are higher ranked than Ekblad. Also worth noting, past first overall defenceman haven’t panned out the way they were expected to. Usually they’re rushed into the NHL when they’re not ready and crack under the pressure.
