Minnesota Wild: Top 3 Prospects

You can’t have a top prospects list without showing a little love for the masked men between the pipes. The Wild are in an interesting predicament with their goaltender and injuries which makes Johan Gustafsson the perfect guy in the AHL. He didn’t have a great first year in the AHL posting a 12-20-4 record with a 2.98 goals-against average and .903 save percentage. He’s a very technical goaltender who focuses on being in the right place at the right time to make the save. He still has a lot to learn and needs some time to adapt to the North American game after his time in Sweden.

Expect Gustafsson to battle for starts again in the AHL next season and if need be fill in the for the Minnesota Wild.
