Jason Zucker is the closest NHL ready Minnesota Wild prospect with his season split between the AHL and NHL last season. He laced up for 21 games with the Wild scoring 4 goals for 5 points. When he wasn’t with the NHL’s Wild, he was with the AHL’s Wild where he recorded 13 points in 22 games. He underwent surgery in March to repair a tendon which forced him to miss the rest of the 2013-2014 season but he should be good to go for the upcoming season.
Jason Zucker is a very versatile forward who can play top 6 minutes or fit in nicely on the checking line. His shot is pretty solid and he utilizes his speed to create offence. He had a nice transition to the NHL mid season and should bounce back nicely with some more NHL time next season.
