With 45 points in 40 regular season games and 19 points in 21 playoff games, Brett Pollock has certainly found his game. With his 6 foot 2 frame, he already has the size needed to play in the NHL and he likes to utilize that size. Despite his NHL ready frame, Pollock often shies away from the physical game along boards and will need to pick that up before he breaks into the NHL.
His lack of a physical game and a weak defencive awareness leaves him listed as a 2nd round prospect. However, a strong Memorial Cup will help solidify his 2nd round draft ability and may even force a team to give him a look late in round 1.
