Curtis Lazar had a big season for the Oil Kings in the WHL and was a huge contributor in them beating their arch rivals in the WHL championships. During the Regular season Lazar recorded 76 points in just 58 games, while adding 22 points in 21 playoff games. Lazar has tons of energy and skill, however his most telling attribute is the fact he never, ever gives up on any play.

Lazar is one of the Ottawa Senators top prospect and will likely join their AHL team next season. A big showing in the Memorial Cup might even make the Sens give him some time in the NHL next season. He plays a full 200 foot game and is capable of playing on both the penalty kill and power-play, making Lazar crucial to the Oil Kings success this season.
