7. Michael Dal Colle- Carolina Hurricanes
The Hurricanes need a major shake-up in their line-up and Dal Colle could be the perfect guy to provide that shake-up. He’s a big, strong power forward type who has the ability to finish.
8. Jake Virtanen- Toronto Maple Leafs
The Leafs are another team that could use a shake-up after a late season collapse which landed them a top 10 pick. Jake Virtanen is one of the best skaters in the draft and plays a very physical brand of hockey, just what the Leafs are looking for. To cap it off he knows how to find the back of the net.
9. Kasperi Kapanen- Winnipeg Jets
While Kapanen is still a few years away from any North American hockey, there a strong chance he’ll pan out to be a top 6 forward for the Jets. He’s a teenager playing in the mens elite league in Sweden and recorded 14 points. He’s going to take time to develop but might be worth the wait.
