Calgary Flames: Top Three Prospects

Coda Gordon – Swift Current Broncos

Coda Gordon is another young Flames prospect who has been sent to the Abbotsford Heat to finish off the year. The Flames drafted Gordon in the 6th round of 2012 NHL draft and have seen a vast improvement in the 19 year-olds game. He’s played for seasons with the Swift Current Broncos in the WHL and has been one of the teams highest scorers throughout his time. He put up 71 points in 59 games with the Bronco’s this past season as he made his home in front of the oppositions net.

He has yet to play or record any points with the Heat but is expected to play a role in their playoff run. Coda Gordon has a ton of potential to be a third or fourth line winger, but is still a long way off from joining the Flames on a consistent basis.
