While the Buffalo Sabres have a lot of goaltenders occupying the pipeline, there is certainly a drop off in talent between the next ones and Ryan Miller. Right now Jhonas Enroth and Michael Neuvirth occupy the crease, but not too far down the line is Linus Ullmark. He’s thought to be one of the Sabres best goaltender prospects and a guy who can easily become a number one in the next 5 years. The Sabres drafted the netminder in the 6th round of the 2012 draft and have allowed him to keep playing in Sweden.

In 35 games with Modo, Ullmark recorded a 2.08 Goals Against Average and an impressive .931 Save Percentage. His solid year earned him the goaltender of the year award in the Swiss league and the top save percentage in the league. Ullmark is quickly becoming the best goaltender in Sweden and with the plethora of goaltenders the Sabres can afford to take their time with him.
