Of all the teams competing in the Frozen Four, Minnesota boasts the biggest winning championship from this season having won the B1G Ten Championship. If all else fails for Minnesota they can rely on their goaltender Adam Wilcox who just so happens to be the best goaltender in all of college hockey.

Many would argue that Wilcox got snubbed in the Hobey Baker voting as he was left off the final three for the Hobey Baker. Wilcox can avenge that snub by backstopping the Gophers to the NCAA national title. Freshman Justin Kloos surprised in the first two games of the tournament and earned the West Region most impressive player title for his efforts. Backstopped by Wilcox, Minnesota boasts the third best defence in the nation and will rely heavily on that defence to make the final two and win the national title.

Their defence and goaltender leave nothing to be desired, however, can the Gophers must enough offence from their young guys to score their way through the Frozen Four?
