Frozen Four Final Four Team Preview

If there is a favourite to be picked of the final four it’s Boston College who has advanced to their 7th final four in the last 11 years. They have the best top line of Johnny Gaudreau, Kevin Hayes, and Bill Arnold in all of college hockey and the rest of the team isn’t half bad either.

They’re the reigning Hockey East Regular Season Champions and are poised to win their first NCAA Title since 2012. They have solid goaltending from Thatcher Demko who posted an impressive .920 save percentage and solid leadership from their captain Patrick Brown. However, if their opponents can successfully shutdown the Guadreau line, then Boston College could be in trouble. They have had trouble finding secondary scoring, anyone who steps up could become the next Eagles hero.

Boston College will need a big game from their young defence and goaltender if they want to win the National Title. They have the tools and skill but can they get it done in the crunch?
