Re-Match Portland Pirates vs Worcester Sharks

Tonight the Portland Pirates are hosting their Division rivals the Worcester Sharks in what we hope is a less brutal game than last weekend.  These two teams faced off against each other last weekend at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA and registered 15 fighting majors and 143 penalty minutes, the Sharks improving their series lead 3 games to 1.

The Pirates are looking to keep their win streak going after winning 3-2 against the Manchester Monarchs. Meanwhile on the other side of the ice, the Sharks are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 6-1 loss to the Syracuse Crunch.

Chad Johnson is expected to be in net tonight for the Pirates after improving his record to 6-5-0.

Who’s Hot….

Rob Klinkhammer and Alexandre Bolduc are the main men expected to be in the spotlight tonight as they lead the Pirates in points.  For the Sharks, Tim Kennedy is leading the way with 18 points and has a record of scoring against the Pirates.
