Nebraska-Omaha Dismisses Hudson

Nebraska-Omaha head coach Dean Blais has kicked Senior Alex Hudson off the team after a second violation of team rules. Hudson came into the 2011-12 season as the Mavericks’ captain, but that title was stripped from him after a first violation of team rules.

Hudson was the fourth leading scorer from last year’s team and the team’s leading returning scorer. He finishes his college career with 37 goals and 82 points.

Dean Blais said he would have no comment on what Hudson did to deserve his dismissal.
