Jaden Schwartz Selected To Canada’s WJC Team

He was a returning player, and one of Canada’s better players before getting hurt at last year’s WJC, so it’s no shock but still nice to see that Jaden Schwartz was named to Canada’s WJC team. Schwartz currently ranks 11th nationally in points per game at 1.38 and he’s the third leading scoring Sophomore in the country.

The other college invite to camp, Michigan’s Phil DiGiuseppe, was cut despite reportedly playing very well in camp. He probably solidified his first round NHL draft projection, but was pretty much a longshot to make the team.
