Philippe Hudon Leaves Cornell

Cornell Freshman Philippe Hudon has left the team and the school, and might not be back. The 5th round pick of the Red Wings hadn’t played yet for the Big Red, and has been battling OCD for awhile now.

Hudon skated with Victoriaville of the QMJHL on Tuesday, but no decision as to whether he will play in the Q or not has been made. Hudon said he had trouble managing both school and hockey, and it’s possible that Victoriaville might be the best option for him. Playing college hockey is tough enough with OCT, but doing that and trying to get an Ivy League education must be nearly impossible.
