each week TCHB will be naming its player and team of the week:

First up, the runners up:

Danny Kristo, Jr. F, North Dakota

Kristo had 2 goals and 2 assists over the weekend against Maine, including back to back power play goals on Saturday for his first two tallies of the year. He also had a team high 5 shots for the Sioux on Saturday.

Kent Patterson, Sr. G, Minnesota

Patterson allowed 4 goals each night, but he did it while facing a whopping 50 shots each night. He was particularly impressive on Saturday, as he faced 20 shots in the third period and had to withstand that onslaught while his team generated only 16 shots on goal for the entire game.

Cole Schneider, So. F, UConn

Schneider had 2 goals and the game winning assist in a victory over Army, and also was +3 and posted 5 shots on goal.

Anders Lee, So. F, Notre Dame

Lee had 3 goals and 5 points in a weekend split with Ohio State, including the game winner on Friday. He also had 7 SOG on Friday, though only 2 on Saturday.

The winner is after the jump:

Kyle Jean, So. F, Lake Superior State

Jean had an assist and 6 shots on goal on Saturday, but the real reason for his being named POTW was his work on Friday, when he posted a hat trick and was a +2 in helping the Lakers to a sweep over Michigan State.
