Keith Kinkaid Leaving Union

Ken Schott is reporting that Union goalie Keith Kinkaid will leave the school to sign with the New Jersey Devils. Kinkaid was 2nd in ECAC hockey in GAA but just 6th in save percentage with a .920 mark.

No terms have been announced as to Kinkaid’s free agent deal, which is expected to be announced Wednesday.

With Kinkaid’s departure, Union will rely on Tony Grosenick, who played just under 85 minutes this year. Union’s lone goalie recruit is Colin Stevens of the EJHL, though he is listed as a 2012 recruit.
