I’ll have some more nuggets this week, but a brief numerical intro to this year’s Frozen Four.

32 – Number of wins by North Dakota this year, the most for any team in the Frozen Four

24 – Wins by Minnesota-Duluth, least by any Frozen Four team

8 – Losses by North Dakota, least by a Frozen Four team

13 – Losses by Notre Dame, most by a Frozen Four team

36 – Goals by Matt Frattin, the most of any player in the Frozen Four

60 – Points by Matt Frattin, the most of any player in the Frozen Four

1.45 – Points per game by Jack Connolly, the most of any player in the Frozen Four

2008 – The last year any of these teams were in the Frozen Four, when North Dakota, Notre Dame and Michigan all were in it.

2000 – The last time any of these teams won the national title, when North Dakota defeated Boston College in the final.
