Western Michigan 5, Ferris State 4: With the OT win, Western advances to the Joe for the first time since 1994. Max Campbell was the hero, scoring the overtime winner, his 8th of the year.

Dartmouth 4, Harvard 3: James Mello stopped 35 shots and Matt Linblad scored his 11th and 12th goals as the Big Green earned a trip to Atlantic City next weekend.

Colgate 4, Union 3: For the second straight year, ECAC Hockey’s 12th seed will play in its championship weekend. Apparently this is the first time the 12th seed has made it all the way because Brown was an 11 last year. Sorry, ECAC fans. Wade Poplawski scored his first goal of the season in overtime to give Colgate the upset.

Cornell 3, Quinnipiac 2: Joe Devin had his 16th and 17th goals of the year, the latter an overtime winner to put Cornell back into championship weekend. Mike Garman got the start in net and made 37 saves for the Big Red.

Colorado College 2, Wisconsin 1: The lone WCHA series to go three games saw CC come back from a 1-0 deficit after two periods to beat the Badgers and advance to the Final Five in St. Paul. Stephen Schultz had a goal and an assist, and Jaden Schwartz had 2 assists. Joe Howe had 33 saves in the win.
