Western Michigan 3, Ferris State 1: Western forced a game three in their playoff series as Jerry Kuhn made 30 saves in the win.

Lake Superior 4, Notre Dame 3: Lake State extended the series to three games as well as Kevin Kapalka made 37 saves. Fred Cassiani had two goals in the win and TJ Tynan had his 21st goal in the loss.

Dartmouth 2, Harvard 1: Michael Biega scored his 11th, but it wasn’t enough as Andrew Owsiak scored only his 2nd goal of the year to give Dartmouth the OT winner and force a game 3.

Minnesota-Duluth 3, St. Cloud State 2: The Bulldogs swept the Huskies in dramatic fashion, with Mike Connolly putting in a goal in triple overtime to win it for Duluth. Mike Lee had 60 saves in the loss.

North Dakota 3, Michigan Tech 1: The Huskies were much better last night, but it didn’t stop the Sioux from advancing to the Final Five. Matt Frattin had his 33rd goal of the year and Taylor Dickin(the box) had his first career goal for the Sioux.

Alaska-Anchorage 2, Minnesota 0: Chris Kamal made 24 saves and for the second year in a row Minnesota will be not attending the Final Five. A hearty congrats has to go out to Anchorage for making the rare trip, but the story will obviously be whether Don Lucia will get another year in Dinkytown or not.
