Michigan State 2, Michigan 1: Drew Palmisano got the rare night off and  Will Yanakeff responded by saving 34 of the 35 shots he faced and Joey Shean scored his first goal of the year to give Sparty the upset.

RPI 5, Yale 2: Chase Polacek had a goal and 2 assists and Allen York made 38 saves to hand Yale their second loss on the weekend. It looks like we will have a new #1 next week.

Boston College 5, UMass-Lowell 1: Cam Atkinson had 2 goals, including one shorthanded, and John Muse stopped 29 of the 30 shots he faced. BC will likely be #1 in the polls next week. I am not sure they deserve it, but I am not sure anyone deserves it at this point.

North Dakota 6, Colorado College 0: The Sioux defense only let Colorado College get 21 shots on net, 13 of them in the 3rd when the Sioux had clearly gone into a defensive shell. Matt Frattin had his 21st goal of the year and Danny Kristo had 3 assists.

Alabama-Huntsville 2, Nebraska-Omaha 1: The battle of the hyphens went to the Chargers, who despite getting outshot 59-19 got an overtime goal from Sebastian Geoffrion to win it in overtime. Clarke Saunders made 58 saves and might be my player of the week for that effort alone.
