1. Minnesota-Duluth (11-1-2) (8-1-1) No Change

The building sucks, but it’s the last weekend for the DECC before Duluth moves into Amsoil Arena on December 30th.

2. North Dakota (9-5-2) (7-3-0) Up 2

Even though the Sioux are flush with talent, they are just 20th nationally in scoring offense and 27th in scoring defense. Playing the strongest schedule in the country to this point probably impacts that.

3. Nebraska-Omaha (9-2-1) (6-1-1) Up 2

4. Boston University (7-1-5) (5-1-4) Down 2

BU had only 3 ties last year, and already has 5 before Christmas.

5. Miami (9-4-3) (7-3-2) Down 2

Though they have been a stingy defensive team lately, Miami has been downright offensive this year, leading the CCHA scoring 3.75 goals per game.

6. Yale (8-1-0) (4-0-0) Up 1

Broc Little is tied for 1st nationally averaging 2 points per game. He has 8 goals in 9 contests so far.

7. Maine (6-3-3) (4-2-1) Down 1

8. New Hampshire (7-2-4) (5-1-2) Up 2

Paul Thompson and Phil DeSimone are 1st and 2nd in  Hockey East scoring.

9. Union (7-2-3) (2-1-1) Up 2

10. Boston College (9-5-0) (7-4-0) Down 2

Despite beating Vermont 6-0, the Eagles only outshot the Catamounts by 2.

11. Denver (10-4-2) (7-2-1) Up 2

Sophomore Drew Shore has vaulted into a tie for 2nd in the WCHA in goals with 12.

Sophomore Sam Calabrese had his first career goal in the waning minutes on Saturday. Judge for yourself as to whether it should have counted.

13. Michigan (8-4-4) (7-2-1) Down 4

Junior Brandon Burlon is tied for first in the CCHA in goals by a defenseman with 4.

14. Wisconsin (7-6-3) (3-5-2) Up 2

Instead of a fact no one cares about, read this projection of who will make the US World Junior team instead.

15. RPI (7-3-3) (2-2-0) Down 1

RPI won their own Thanksgiving tournament for the first time in 9 years.
