Ferris State 3, Miami 2: Despite Andy Miele scoring just 3 minutes into the game, and midway through the second period, Ferris pulled off the upset by limiting Miami to just 18 shots. Miami allowed a rare shorthanded goal from Mike Fillinger, and Cody Reichard had a rare off night, allowing 3 goals on just 22 shots.

North Dakota 4, Minnesota-Duluth 2: UMD came into the game getting 34 SOG per game. The Sioux allowed less than half that (16). Matt Frattin got his 8th goal of the season, and Evan Trupp had a goal and an assist. Chay Genoway assisted on two of the Sioux goals and appears to be back to full strength.

New Hampshire 2, Boston College: 1: Matt DiGirolamo made 31 saves for the Wildcats and while John Muse had a strong game for the Eagles this is the third straight contest in which they have allowed a ton of shots on goal. Dalton Speelman assisted on the first goal and then potted the game winner.

St. Lawrence 3, Cornell 0: Matt Weninger made 26 saves as St. Lawrence won their first game of the season. The Saints got all of their goals in the 3rd period, getting tallies from Kyle Flanagan, Justin Baker and Jeremy Wick, all of whom got their first goal of the season.

Bowling Green 3, Notre Dame 2: Jordan Samuels-Thomas had a goal and an assist, and Camden Wojtala potted the game winner with roughly 5 minutes left to hand the Irish just their second loss of the season.
