Nebraska-Omaha 4, Minnesota 2: Omaha’s first WCHA series results in a sweep in Minneapolis. Despite Alex Kangas’s 44 saves, Omaha scored the first 3 goals of the game en route to a sweep. Freshman Matt White scored his 4th of the season and Matt Ambroz had his 5th.
North Dakota 5, Bemidji State 2: Bemidji’s first WCHA series went in the opposite way as they were swept at home by the Sioux. Chay Genoway got his first goal of the season, and Matt Frattin continued his hot streak with his 5th goal in the season’s first four games. Derek Rodwell also scored the first goal of his college career.
Boston College 3, Denver 0: Jimmy Hayes, Tommy Cross and Cam Atkinson all potted their 2nd goals in the win. Parker Milner made 20 saves for the shutout.
Miami 1, St. Cloud State 1: Dan Dunn made 19 saves and Connor Knapp made 24 in the tie. Carter Camper scored for Miami and Jared Festler got the Huskies lone goal.
Ferris State 3, St. Lawrence 0: Zach Redmond, Nate Hennig and Derek Graham all scored for Ferris, and Pat Nagle made 26 saves for the shutout.
